Item Details
- Removed from a MerCruiser / Ford 3.7L 4cyl.
- Used with 4 cylinder 3.7L engines that came in various horsepowers (165hp 170hp 180hp 185hp 190hp) and also referred to as (MerCruiser Alpha One 165, 170, 180, 185, 190, 465, 485, 488, 470 MIE, 470, 470LX etc.)
- This prestolite style distributor was not common. I am not sure if it was some sort of aftermarket replacement from the time period or factory from MerCruiser, but it is seemingly not referenced in any parts diagrams.
- Yours should look just like this, also note the hex distributor shaft that goes into the oil pump.
